Brian Baldwin Promoted to Chief Administrative Officer & Minority Owner

I am delighted to announce that due to his years of consistently competent work servicing our clients, I have promoted Brian Baldwin to the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer. This new title carries a commensurate increase in salary, and also gives Brian the opportunity to become a minority owner of the voting equity in my firm.

Those of you, who work with Brian, have experienced his continuously improving high level of “concierge” client service. As background, I hired Brian, a USC Art History graduate, from a temporary employment agency on a trial basis over 10 years ago. He has developed into a competent financial advisor and trusted staff member. In 2021, Brian was selected as “National Staff Member of the Year,” by Commonwealth Financial Network (CFN), which recognizes an administrative assistant's outstanding job performance. He was picked from nominations from over 2,000 independent advisors offices who use CFN as their broker/dealer.

To earn this position as an officer of my firm, Brian has undergone years of “hands on” tutelage learning the intricacies on a vast array of common to highly complicated financial products. He has helped me do regular investment research on all of our investments. He has been regularly purchasing individual securities, both one at a time an inside of bulk trades, for various CA clients. He is knowledgeable about tax-loss harvesting and helped us establish proven processes in this area. He has created, under my direction, a number of proprietary investment analysis tools that help us proactively manage our client’s cash balances so that we can keep their cash working for them in various better ways.

Brian has established other formalized process controls aimed at ensuring consistency in high quality service, support, and advice. His new role will broaden him as a businessman by requiring him to also develop new client relationships that can add value to our firm. Brian will continue to supervise all areas of our firms operations, including stay on top of complicated, ever-changing, compliance rules and regulations. Brian holds his FINRA Series 7 & 66 securities registrations.

Please join me in congratulating Brian on this significant advancement in his career.
